Your October Check In: Pumping Tips for Moms in Healthcare | Mommy Scrubs™ Holiday Prep | Mommy Scrubs™

Hey, mamas!

We just nailed the school drop off line, and the stores already have Christmas trees next to the Halloween candy. 🎃 Sound familiar, mama? Here's your quick October check in.

October Means More Than Pumpkin Spice

  • Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Know your normal. A lump that lingers longer than a clogged duct? Call your provider.
  • October 15: Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Light a candle at 7 p.m. and check on the mama who may be grieving quietly.
  • Halloween: The scariest thing this month? Forgetting a pump part. Keep a spare set at work. 👻

What Keeps Me Going

The days are long, but the years are short. In motherhood and in business.

What keeps me going is knowing I'm making a difference one Mommy Scrubs™ at a time. Soon I hope it's many at a time, because we're exploring wholesale partnerships to get our patented scrubs to more moms.

I can't share everything yet. But I'm so excited. Stay tuned. 💛

3 Quick Tips Before the Holidays

  1. Know your PUMP Act rights. Break time and a private space to pump, for up to one year after baby's birth. Confirm it in writing before holiday schedules shift.
  2. Prep the night before. Pump bag by your keys. Fewer morning decisions, more energy. (OT approved.)
  3. Daylight saving ends November 1. Shift pump times by 15 minutes every few days so it's gentle on you and baby.

Your takeaway: You don't have to do it all. Just keep showing up, and give yourself grace.

Stay pumped,

Cherie
