Hey, Mama!
May brings Mother’s Day, National Women’s Health Week, and Mental Health Awareness Month — all meaningful, all important. But for many pumping moms in scrub-wearing professions, these observances can feel a little disconnected from real life.
Because the truth is:
Most pumping moms don’t need more praise.
They need more support.
Support to take real breaks.
Support to pump without rushing or apologizing.
Support to navigate supply dips without shame.
Support to work in scrubs that don’t require undressing halfway just to feed their baby.
Before I became a mom, I didn’t pay attention to these gaps. Now, it’s all I see.
This month is a perfect time to acknowledge what working, pumping moms truly need — and to give ourselves permission to say it out loud:
• “I’m overwhelmed.”
• “I need more time.”
• “This is harder than I expected.”
• “My needs matter too.”
Mommy Scrubs was built to meet moms in that vulnerable space — where care, comfort, and convenience matter more than ever.
This May, let’s commit to celebrating moms with more than words.
Let’s support them with solutions.
Stay Pumped,
You Mommy Scrubs Village
